Licensed since 2004, Michelle has enjoyed the roller coaster ride a real estate market has brought to her. In past times, Michelle was the managing broker/co-owner of her own real estate company for 13 years. Now, she is excited to be a realtor/broker at North Eastern Group Realty, being able to really focus on the needs of her clients. Michelle currently lives in one of the oldest homes on record in Dekalb County, built in 1856, outside of Waterloo on 5.5 acres. Michelle’s husband, Troy, has worked for Parkview Hospital as an information System Analyst “AKA computer geek!”(-Michelle) for over 20 years. Together they have 2 kids, their daughter Jensen (17) who has been blessed with a beautiful voice, and has been singing since the 1st grade. As well as their son, Lane (14) who has a passion for soccer and futsal.
As a family, they spend most of their time going to gigs and concerts for Jensen Snyder Music (their daughters industry) as well as plenty of athletic events where she preforms the National Anthem. The rest of their time is spent watching Lane “do his thing” (-Michelle) on the soccer fields and futsal courts. Michelle and her family love every minute of it. Aside from her busy life, she enjoys being able to go home to the peacefulness and fun of her family’s hobby farm that includes 13 chickens, a few barn cats, 2 dogs, 1 house cat and a pet rabbit. Michelle is also a health coach, having a passion for helping people get on their personal health journey. She loves how Real Estate and Health Coaching relate; they are both truly all about helping people on a huge new step in life, and taking care of people is what Michelle loves to do.
